British tenor Mark Padmore is widely celebrated by critics for his intellectual rigor, peerless lyrical enunciation, and profound emotional storytelling.  He is one of the most highly respected performers of his generation and has established an international career in opera, concert and recital.  His philosophy centres on the emotional connection of songs and communicate with the audience.

Mark will join forces with pianist Ben Marcovic, Director of Music and Organist at St Mary’s Barnes, and they perform to reveal deep undercurrents of emotions and expressive contrasts of their carefully curated selection of songs by Schubert and Robert Schumann.

We look forward to their creative daring and sensitivity to poetic texts.
